Yes! We are still doing our fundraiser to support the good folks of western North Carolina. Please stop in to check out the pink tagged books. The pink tagged books will get $9 per book donated to one of a few charities. We are splitting between @cajunnavy2016 , @mountainmulepackers , @mercychefs .
The Healing Garden in the words of my friend, Kate, is a babe of a book. Juliet Blankespoor is the founder of the Chesnut School in Buncombe County, NC. Juliet lozt most everything in Hurricane Helene. I will be donating $10 per book directly to Juliet. The book is gorgeous and will make a fantastic Christmas gift for your friends and family that love herb gardening.

Please stop in to Books to be Red while you are on Ocracoke. Plan to check out our fundraiser for relief efforts in western NC that will be running for this month. There will be a rotating display featuring books from western North Carolina authors or fiction that takes place in WNC. Look for the books with the colorful sticker on the front table, $9 from each book will be donated to one of the groups working hard to help. This first group I have chosen are the Mountain Mule Packer Ranch. Those packers and mules have made some amazing and inspiring deliveries to areas where the roads are all but gone. Today was our first day and we already have about $210.
